    DRIVE UNITS

    The ETS drive units are equipped with high-quality electric motors featuring a five-pole armature. Torque is transmitted to the driving wheels via a worm gear and an automatic clutch; the latter disengages the worm gear from the driving wheels whenever the motor stops. Consequently, the locomotive can be moved even when the motor is not running. This system is patented by our company. The recommended maximum voltage is 16–20 V.

    We manufacture units with various wheelbases and a wide range of wheel diameters. ETS drive units thus offer extensive possibilities for building your models. Please contact us regarding any special requirements.
